Are you tired of playing Scrabble or Word Factory? Then you should go BANANAS with this fun, quirky word game! This refreshing game focuses on your speed and not points! After all, the goal is to become the “Top Banana”!
You don’t need a pencil, paper, or board to play this game. Just bring your “Banana” and play wherever!
How do I play Bananagrams?
Place all 144 tiles facedown. This will be the “Bunch”. Deal a number of tiles depending on the number of players. The game starts when any player calls “Split”. Once “Split” is called, everyone will start to arrange their words in a grid.
When a player places their last faceup tile in a grid, a person calls out “Peel” and all players will take one tile from the “Bunch”. You get to rearrange your tiles until the tiles in the bunch are less than the number of players!
How do I win?
Once the bunch is depleted, the first person who completes their grid must call out “Bananas!” The other player will check their grid and if there is an abbreviation or other unacceptable word, the other players will call “Rotten Banana”. Otherwise, he will be declared the TOP BANANA!
