Overview
Monopoly is a fun and money-centric game that has been around for ages. If you are thinking of purchasing the game from our store, please know that it is a fast-paced game, and you will love it merely for its ‘ease of playing.’
Theoretically speaking, a game of Monopoly Deal can be finished in just two rounds. The majority of the players cannot sit through a long session of board/card game, but Monopoly Deal will keep you thrilled for a while.
So overall, it’s akin to the famous Monopoly game (more or less), and the instructions are crystal clear.
Ideally, 2-5 players can play this game happily, but you can add more people to the list. If there are more than five players, use two decks of cards to play Monopoly deal.
This brings us to the next question – what’s the objective of this card game?
The Objective Of The Game
The objective is quite straightforward. You just need to be the first player to have three full property sets in front of you. These property sets should be in different colours. If you are able to achieve this, you are the sole winner of the game.
Players above 8 years old will have a gala time playing this game.
The whole idea is to collect properties and beat the opponents in the game by stealing their assets.
You can use the ‘action cards’ to demand money for birthday, charge rent, or even swap cards. However, you need to ensure that your bank has enough money. Don’t forget that if you steal from your opponents, they can very well steal from you as well.
The next important step is to learn how to play Monopoly Deal card game.
How To Play Monopoly Deal Card Game?
For starters, get accustomed to the setup of the game.
Each of the players deals with five cards in the beginning. They pick two cards from the draw pile right at the beginning of each of their turn. Each of the player is allowed to play with three cards when it is their turn.
After the turn of each player comes to an end, none of the player can have more than seven cards in the hand. If they DO have more than seven cards, they would need to discard it in a separate discard pile.
The game is played clockwise till there is a winner. The winner is someone who has full three property sets. Once they have these property sets in front of them, they will be announced as the winner of the Monopoly deal game.
The game play is fairly easy:
- For starters, take out four cards from deck that say, ‘quick start rules.’
- Now, shuffle this deck and give out five cards to each of the players.
- Put all the remaining cards at the centre of the table. These should be face-down. Please note: This separate pile would be the draw pile.
- All the existing players can pick up cards that are dealt to them, but they should not show their cards to the opponents.
To win, check the property card. It will tell you how many cards you need of that colour in order to complete a full set.
